3rd Annual Queen City Barbeque Cookoff

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd Annual Queen City Barbeque Cookoff sponsored by the Small Business Club of Clarksville is set to occur June 21-22, 2013 and will take place at the Clarksville Speedway located at 1600 Needmore Road, Clarksville, TN.

All proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior whose mission it is:

• To raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.
• To help injured service members aid and assist each other.
• To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.

We will be asking each team to host a wounded warrior as a honorary team member for the weekend.

Event Details

There will be over $6,500 in prize money awarded during this Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned event. A $260 entry fee per team will allow contestants to compete in the Pro Division which has 4 categories with a 1st through 10th place ranking.

Categories in the Pro Division include:

• Ribs
• Chicken
• Brisket
• Pork

We will be hosting an "Anything But" category. We ask all teams to cook anything they would like. We will be using the Warriors to judge this event. We need all teams to enter so all the Warriors will get to judge.

This year, in addition to the Pro Division we will also be featuring the Appleton Harley-Davidson Backyard Division. The categories in this division will include:

• Ribs
• Chicken

There is a $100 entry fee per team. Teams competing in the Backyard Division will have a 20' x 20' cook area. However, no water or electricity will be supplied.
